The calendar shows October which means the countdown to ski season is in full swing! Time to up the stoke! Make sure to catch the fall foliage, learn about a new ski area perfectly positioned for the pandemic, listen for two “busta rhymes” and my six-month-old son Jay trying to get in on the conversation. Trivia, listener questions, seasonal beers from Great Falls Brewery and an overview of the northeast Indy Pass ski areas fill the chatter.

It's mid-September and the change in the seasons from summer to fall just means winter is that much closer! This episode’s theme – an Outdoor State of Mind – will feature the airing of grievances, creative ways to embrace the outdoors into the cold months, a resurrected ski area in Maine, and a feature segment about the greatest challenge of our lifetime, protecting our winters. Season pass sales, winter operation updates and good ski news will all be part of this episode – recorded outside on my deck! The chirping birds, barking dogs and garbage truck are nice accent pieces to the episode theme. And for the love of God, “Is the Pano Open?”
